Young Bands Night with WildFlower, Burnt Toast and Olivia Channing
Young Bands Night brings three young bands making great strides in the world of indie, rock and pop. There's a spectacular diversity of talent on show. Come along to say you saw them here first!
7.30 - Olivia Channing
8.20 - Burn Toast
9.10 - WildFlower
Olivia Channing - Olivia wowed audiences at our Open Mic last year, and made her Sound Lounge Debut at December’s Young Bands Night. A spellbinding young talent performing solo acoustic songs with a maturity far beyond her years. “I mostly play cover songs as I am still working on original material and finding my sound. I aim to play a range of genres but specifically love to play blues in the style of John Mayer.”
Burnt Toast - We spotted Burnt Toast playing at our Open Mic in April and were so impressed we immediately asked them to play at a Young Bands Night. Vibrant and enthusiastic rock covers from a group of supremely talented teenagers. "Band members Ben (drums), Tom (guitar), Charlie (guitar) and Xavaya (vocals and bass) play hard rock, grunge, some metal, and more."
WildFlower - A year 13 band from Carshalton, doing covers and own renditions of well known songs from all ages. WildFlower have played School and Music Trust events here at The Sound Lounge. Now we have them for their first proper Sound Lounge gig - another incredible example of the wealth of musical talent we have in the area.
