The Steve Eggs Band

Imperfect Strangers is the new album from The Steve Eggs Band and it will be officially released and showcased at The Sound Lounge on Friday April 11th.

Recorded in the very comfortable surroundings of Surrey's Temple Music Studios and produced by the band and Tim Pennells, the album contains 11 brand new songs. In something of a departure from previous releases, these new compositions are a far more collaborative effort by the group. However, they still bear the mark of Steve's outstanding skill with melody and lyrics and his ability to find a great hook. The album also has a harder edge to it and is something of a tour de force from guitarist Jon Kershaw. In short, it's an album that rocks!

There will be a limited run of CDs for this album and they will be available on the night and ahead of any release on streaming platforms.

Doxey Box fuses retro soul with contemporary jazz to craft a distinctive mix of playful, toe-tapping tunes. The lineup includes saxophonist and co-writer Luiza Lale, multi-instrumentalist Matt Greaves, drummer Annie Mumford and band stalwart Phil Mulford on bass.
