The Rousings + support Craig Edmonds
Straight out of Carshalton, The Rousings mix folky tunes with spiky, new-wave-y guitar and psychedelic wanderings. Fronted by local hero and man of many bands Sean Bright (also from the Ladles and his own solo shows), the band made their Sound Lounge debut earlier this year at the Looking for the Magic ‘Record Store Day’ all-dayer. They returned with their first full set in June, and now bring another delightful and eclectic musical adventure to our stage.
Support comes from the equally splendid Craig Edmonds, who's also been winning loads of new admirers with his SL appearances including at Paul Sexton's recent Brian Wilson Night, where he played a moving version of 'Midnight’s Another Day.'
Tickets are Pay What You Can Afford, including a free entry option, and doors are at 7pm as usual.
