The Sound Lounge and Chufty Badge are thrilled to introduce The Pursuit of Pleasure to The Sound Lounge for the first time!

The Pursuit of Pleasure play a particularly British strain of Americana. With male / female lead vocalists, their unique blend of alt-country and folk draws influence from artists like First Aid Kit, Michael Kiwanuka, The Mamas & Papas, The Decemberists and Jefferson Airplane.

The songs themselves combine melodic pop melodies with darker, introspective lyrics that have a deeply personal honesty to them.

Their new single, 'Lived A Life' is released on February 14th.

Demo Buttons are Chris Barratt & Joe Kinsey. Formerly of folk-rockers Billy Vincent, they lean occasionally into their former songbook while delivering new songs cut from the same cloth.

Reece Quick is the guitarist in up-and-coming indie rock / folk band Dogs Hosting Fleas. Blending the sounds of Bon Iver, Bright Eyes and Black Country, New Road into a sound unlike many others.
