Sutton Women’s Centre Fundraiser - Pluto Girl + Since My Beloved + Amaryllis + Shut Up Sally + Dying Crush

Part of our Fresh Noise Festival showcasing the vibrant young rock and alternative scene we have here in Sutton and South London. The bands themselves decided they’d like to dedicated a night to raising money for a good cause and they picked Sutton Women’s Centre. This is an incredible charity that supports and empowers women in the Sutton area.

The bands are (almost) entirely women in a genre where the bands have historically been overwhelmingly male. This night is everything about what’s exciting with new music and how music can support important causes and make the world a better place. Don’t miss it.

Pluto Girl - a singer-songwriter whose performances weave together original songs and solo piano compositions. Her music is heartfelt and intimate, blending elements of classical piano with indie pop, carried by soft/airy vocals. She draws inspiration from composers such as Debussy, Chopin, and Einaudi, to create atmospheric, dramatic and emotional pieces

Since My Beloved - a two piece acoustic duo formed through their own band, Claydoll. Inspiration from other genres and the need for creativity and exploration grew into who they are today.

Amaryllis - a five-piece all female alternative rock band from London. Formed in 2023, we blend powerful vocals, driving guitars, and high energy performances with a mix of original music and fresh takes on the songs that inspire us.

Shut Up Sally - an all female band experimenting with electronic/alternative music. They take audiences on a journey contrasting fast-paced jungle drums with dreamscape shoegazey guitar. This paired with the dual blend of gritty and smooth vocals creates an abstract yet bold sound. 'They are fast becoming a name to watch!'

Dying Crush - a Surrey-based genre-bending outfit blending punk rock attitude, metalcore screams, pop rock melodies, and nu-metal riffs into a sound that doesn't sit still. Riff-driven and high-energy, the band brings together seasoned musicians who crossed paths at gigs and open mics across the local scene before joining forces just a year ago. With their debut EP on the way later this year, Dying Crush are ready to bring their explosive, eclectic sound to the Sound Lounge once again.
