Sutton Music Centre Guitar Day ’25
The Sutton Music Centre and The Sound Lounge are hosting some special performances and an opportunity to hang out with like-minded musicians and enthusiasts:
Billy Watman - Classically trained at the prestigious Royal College of Music in London and playing since the age of just 6, Billy is an award winning Anglo-Brazilian instrumental guitarist. Equally at ease on both steel and nylon strings and refusing to be ‘pigeon holed’ into a specific style, Billy’s live show offers a mesmerizing, genre defying musical journey, with repertoire spanning Classical, Flamenco and Pop, through to Disco and Classic Rock – all on 1 guitar.
Rosie Frater-Taylor - One of the most electrifying forces in contemporary British crossover music, Rosie Frater-Taylor is a virtuoso guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter of remarkable emotional depth. In equal parts a dedicated student of jazz guitar and admirer of iconic singer-songwriters, she seamlessly weaves rock, alt-pop, neo-soul, new school jazz, and folk into her singular sound.
