New Bands Night with Skye, Shanelle Rudrigo and Seb & Rosie

The Sound Lounge's Matt Helm is hosting a New Bands Night to give young musicians aged 15-24 an opportunity to perform in their local venue.

On April 16th we welcome:

7.30 - Seb & Rosie

8.20 - Shanelle Rudrigo

9.10 - Skye

SKYE is a recording and performing artist from South-West London with a touch that defines the nature of Neo-soul and R&B music. With the release of her debut single 'Escape The Rain', SKYE gives her audience an auditory insight into her wide vocal range and songwriting prowess, highlighting herself as an artist to be watched in the coming years.

Shanelle Rudrigo is a 15 year old singer, songwriter, pianist and guitarist. BBC Young composer finalist (2023) and Young Artist of the Year Nominee at Josie Awards in Nashville USA (2024). Two of her tracks were played as the track of the day by BBC Introducing.

Seb and Rosie are a dynamic duo who blend the timeless sounds of the ‘60s with the infectious energy of Indie and Britpop. Drawing inspiration from legends like The Beatles, The Stone Roses, and The Jam, Seb’s guitar and piano playing lays the foundation for Rosie’s captivating vocals. Together, they craft a sound that transports listeners to a golden era of music while adding their own modern twist.
