Your hosts for the night and the spice of any party, Los Jestos bring the fourth instalment in their Slam Jam series at the Sound Lounge...and they're bringing in a poet for this one!

Expect a whole new set of songs for your delight and their impros will be as hot as you set the gas! The Jesters will weave together whatever song you request of them. Trust me, they’ve done it all so bring your most embarrassing or comical ideas and they’ll make something peachy with gusto. Expect rock, pop, folk, Latin, reggaeton, pretty much anything you throw at them.

It will be a night to remember, and a night to forget ;-)

Los Jestos will be joined by:

Lottie Jade - After her having to pull out last time, we are so happy to welcome for her debut performance at the Slam Jam the wonderful voice of Lottie Jade. A Brit school graduate, Lottie sings her R&B and soul set beautifully. Expect some classics and a whole host of her own songs to keep the souls of the Sound Lounge mystified!

Si Connelly - Releasing three studio albums in 2023 and twelve EPs in 2022, Brighton based singer-songwriter Si Connelly has continued his prolific assent since 2016's debut album 'Youth War & Joy'.

With tour supports with Ocean Colour Scene, Dexy's Midnight Runners, Get Cape Wear Cape Fly, Toploader, Bob Mould and Love, Si's heavy tour schedule has also seen him picking up audiences across the UK, Europe and US.

Si caught the eye of Brit-Award winning producer Chris Potter (The Verve, Blur, The Rolling Stones) and Grammy-Award winning Producer Dom Morley (Adele, Amy Winehouse) to help create his debut album for free. The albums lead track ‘Hurt You’ featured on hit ITV drama Monroe, and was also picked up by Coldplay, who backed Si’s vocal performance. 'Hurt You' peaked at 19 on the UK iTunes chart, and the album went on to receive radio and television attention in many territories, including Radio 2 airplay and encouragement from Jonathon Ross in the UK.

After a successful crowd-funding campaign, 2017 saw the release of Si’s second album (a double-album) ‘Eject’ featuring multiple producers: Sam Williams (Supergrass), Bacon & Quarmby (KTTunstall), Chenzo Townsend (James Blunt/Keane), Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys).

'Eject' was quickly followed up by a third album 'Jackals and Dogs', his fourth album 'Nevertheless' (June 2023) and his latest album 'The Big Blue'.

Los Jestos - Your Hosts for the evening and ready for their 4th Slam Jam to date! Every one getting busier and busier and their sets getting wilder and wilder! Prepare some stupid subjects for songs, as they’ll improvise one right off the stage for your aural pleasure! With a full band surprise in the making for this show, you haven’t seen anything of these guys yet!

Jack Spooner - And here is our curve ball this Slam Jam. Last time we had a classical pianist, now we have a poet! Jack honed his craft on the poetry open mic circuit in Cardiff whilst at university but took some time away from performing due to the pandemic. Since then he has been working on a mixture of different pursuits from vignettes of life and romance to absurd and comedic utterance. Now he is exploring his love of live music by working with musicians to develop impromptu sounds and feelings to accompany his verse.
