Fools Gold: A night of soulful music
Fool's Gold is a night dedicated to celebrating the new generation of Urban music coming from the UK.
The evening's host, Kynda, is a British-Caribbean Rapper from South-West London. Her credits include the MITS awards and Shelter's 2024 Carol Concert. Citing A Tribe Called Quest, Foxy Brown and Aaliyah as her main influences, Kynda aims to convey a contemporary message over old school, nostalgic beats. She is currently in the process of recording her debut EP "Plasters Aren't Enough" which she will be partially performing at Fool's Gold.
Fool's Gold features 5 other up and coming Urban artists:
Kelle is a Dartford-based RnB artist that captivates every performance space she enters with her heartfelt lyrics.
Miami Mae blends the genres of Singer-Songwriter and Soul to create a unique sound that accompanies her sweet and bright vocals.
Lizzy Viel's background in poetry is evident within her music. She delivers heavy, hard hitting lyrics whilst looking completely at ease on stage.
KRS, is a neo-soul artist that is known for his insane vocal range and buttery smooth tone.
Seyi cannot be defined by just one genre. Inspired by the likes of Aretha Franklin, Cleo Sol and WILLOW, Seyi's music has the vocal agility of old school RnB paired with the grit of contemporary jazz.
This impressive lineup has collective credits that range from opening for Geno Washington at The Sound Lounge to partaking in RAYE's 'Genesis' music video to performing at the Gibson Garage in association with the Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown. Fool's Gold is not an evening to miss!
