Easyskanking play popular classic tunes in a ska and reggae style.

Based in South London, their line-up includes musicians who have played at festivals and venues across the UK, including The Marquee Club, The Shepherd’s Bush Empire, The Edinburgh Festival and Guilfest, never failing to get audiences dancing and participating in their show. Most recently, Easyskanking were on the bill with Janet Kay (‘Silly Games’ - The Queen of Lovers Rock).  The band’s unique engagement with crowds nurtures a party atmosphere with an emphasis on fun. If you can hum it, Easyskanking will skank it! 

‘SKA STYLE!’, Easyskanking’s debut album, was released in the summer of 2024. Tracks on the album feature versions of:  The Model – Kraftwerk; Valerie - The Zutons; Come Up And See Me (Make Me Smile) - Cockney Rebel; Losing My Religion – REM ; Ring Of Fire – Johnny Cash; Dancing In The Moonlight – Thin Lizzy ; Cars – Gary Numan ; Islands In The Stream – Dolly Parton ; Summertime – George Gershwin; I Kissed a Girl – Katie Perry and more.

DJ Jones' Jukebox will be spinning tunes throughout the evening so make sure you bring your skanking shoes!

Please note that we will be clearing the space in front of the stage so that everyone can dance. Seating will therefore be limited. This is the fourth Easyskanking show at The Sound Lounge and every time they have packed the place! Arrive early!
