Demi Marriner (Full Band Show) + Sean C. Duggan + Retro Firefly (supports)
The name Demi Marriner is widely known on the UK music scene and with good reason.
Renowned for her heartfelt songs and captivating performances, Demi’s sound encompasses multiple genres and her live shows beguile stage audiences from the off.
Demi released her debut album The Things We Didn’t Say in 2024 followed by a sell-out UK tour with her incredible band. She’s set to release her next record The Things I Said, the second in a trilogy, in 2025 with touring and festival appearances throughout the year.
Demi is also a member of the chart-topping Elles Bailey band and can be found at all their dates across 2025 both in the band and opening the shows. She is also one of the founders of the ‘Girls Night In Tour’ brand and will be touring with fellow founders Jade Helliwell and Jess Thristan in April 2025.
Having toured with artists such as Elles Bailey, Ferris and Sylvester, Sam Outlaw, Dom Martin, Jarrod Dickenson, The Wandering Hearts, Beth Neilson Chapman, Wildwood Kin and performing at festivals like Glastonbury, Cropredy, Hebcelt, Beautiful Days and many more, Demi is set for a highly successful year with two new records in the making and touring both solo and full band throughout 2025 and into 2026.
Demi Marriner will be playing with her band at The Sound Lounge.
- Winner: Bob Harris Emerging Artist, 2021 UK Americana Awards
- Nine-time nominee, UK Blues Awards 2024/25
- Winner: Live Act of the Year, UK Americana Awards as a member of Elles Bailey's band.
Demi Marriner will be joined by Sean C. Duggan, the frontman of Steady Habits who will be performing solo. With a flair for alt-country sounds, melodic pop hooks and a voice that can blast it to the back of the room, Sean C. Duggan holds a place in "the youthful side of Americana" [Country Queer].
Retro Firefly is the music project of Lowestoft-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Samantha Penman. She began writing music in her early teens, frequently finding inspiration in nature and her upbringing along the Suffolk Coast. Her music has an indie-folk vibe, taking inspiration from artists such as James Blunt and Aurora. Retro Firefly has played The Sound Lounge before, as part of Matt Helm's New Bands Singer Songwriter showcase earlier this year. Samantha is thrilled to be joining Demi Marriner for this special night.
